The Magic Orb

language (Haslage Net Enterprises May 4, 1990)
This fictional work is an easy to read adventure meant for parents to share with their young children. While other stories with a similar theme have been published over the years, The Magic Orb is different in the fact that it was written by a child. That fact alone gives the stories enclosed a point of view originating from the mind of an innocent youth who shows both creativity and originality.

The story takes place many years ago on an island very far away. One day, two children named Adam and Eve were taking a walk in the forest and discover what they thought was an oddly shaped, red ball. After a few attempts to use the ball in a number of sports and some mayhem, the children discover that the ball was actually an orb.

Upon cleaning the orb the children release a genie and what follows is an adventure with ups and downs that eventually leads to the ultimate sacrifice for a friend, having to say goodbye.
