SynopsisThe story of Lucy and the Tiggbott is about a young girl (Lucy) who befriends Tabby; a strange looking creature called a Tiggbott. These two characters set out upon a strange and magical journey, which takes them and the twelve other characters from the same village of watchumdonk... the aforementioned village, is set in the magical and mysterious land of Wallawong. Wallawong comes under the watchful eye of a great wizard, and his name is Raglan. The wizard wants to take on an apprentice, someone he can teach art of magic. He sets a task for the villagers of Watchumdonk to choose 6 pairs of folk from within the village. These 6 pairs are to set out on a mysterious journey to find the greatest gift in all the land. Not wanting to be left out of this adventure, Lucy listens in on the meeting the Wizard has with the villagers.Lucy and her new found friend decide that they too can find the greatest prise in all the land and they set off on their own wondrous and magical adventure... Lucy and her companion encounter all kinds of strange creatures, and throughout their adventure, come across wonderful gems and gifts, which they believe is what the wizard wants.... but its only at the end of their adventure, that they produce what the wizard wants, and it is not precious gems, or gold or silver. It is something totally different...!This story is aimed at an age group for children between 5 and 10 years of age... the story gives its reader, a valuable moral at its end.
