She is the author and illustrator of the Light Pole Books, a series of six sets of children's learning books, which include a Reading, Math Facts, English, History/Geography, Bible, and Science series. She is a retired elementary school teacher and lives with her husband and two cats in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
