Teach Your Children the Importance of Home and Family

Home is more than just a tangible place or location. For many of us we use the word “home” as an alternative name for “family.” Home stands for family. Home is a symbol of where we belong. It is a representation of wonderful memories shared. It’s where our hearts instinctively lead us back to when we need to feel comfort and security.

In today’s society where most connections seem impersonal, it’s becoming harder for parents to teach kids the importance of home and family life. It’s also becoming a challenge to convey the core values that are in line with it such as togetherness, loyalty, responsibility, devotion and love.

For the preservation of our family and our nation’s future, we must never allow these principles to disappear in our children’s lives. The value of good homes and strong families is the foundation of our society. It all starts in the home, they say, and what our nation becomes years from now is dependent on what we build in the home – in our family -- today.

The goal of this children’s book is to help parents cultivate in their young children the appreciation of a solid home and a strong, tight knit family through the use of characters that they can relate to and a storyline that is fun and interesting to them. It is my earnest hope that you and your kids will enjoy this book!
