Percy a fire-dragon had been asleep, in a cave, for 300 years. Awakening in deepest winter he sets out for a long overdue meal. He’s a hundred feet long, immensely powerful and breathes fire. What could possibly go wrong?
Percy didn’t think anything could go wrong. Golden-back fire-dragons were after all the masters of the sky.
He would take to the air, and soar on high, before swooping down onto his prey and burning it with his fiery breath.
But things do go very wrong.
Flying seems to be a problem when he discovers his wings are frozen solid.
Even worse his fire has gone out.
What’s he to do? Starve! Freeze! It seems to be the end for poor Percy.
But help comes from, the most unlikely source in the shape of, a small boy, named Robert, who claims to know exactly what to do.
If only Percy would believe him.
Suitable for children’s bed time reading and for ages up to early teens.
This book contains no sex, violence or bad language.
