Something's Fishy About Writing

Thomas and Alex Tsang, students and authors of “Something’s Fishy about Writing”, have written with the help of their family, a graphic novel to introduce a persuasive writing structure to the young writers. A fish is used to illustrate how to compose an essay. Their aunt, Cindy Tse, used her artistry and spare time to put life into the characters. “Something’s Fishy about Writing”, is for children ages 6 to adolescent.As the main character in the story struggles to get his ideas together for a writing assignment, his teachers use a fish as a metaphor to teach him the structure of a basic influential essay. The characters are real and relatable and infused with a sense of humor.
