Looping the Belt

language ( March 25, 2018)
In the distant future, humankind has moved beyond earth and colonized the solar system. Life is tough for the hardworking Agarwal family, as they struggle to earn a living by harvesting asteroids from their home on Jupiter's moon of Io. It's a hazardous job, but thirteen-year-old Chandra Agarwal is not only a skilled gravel hound; she's the best pilot in the family. But now, Chandra and her father Vickert are faced with a new kind of peril. An ordinary mining run in the asteroid belt takes a strange turn when the Agarwals respond to a distress signal from an Earther transport vessel. Suddenly they are launched on a mysterious journey, "looping the belt", to transport three officials from earth out of danger. Soon Chandra discovers that she will need every bit of her skill and her courage to face not only the treacherous space of the belt, but a terrible secret that could mean the death of them all.
