The order of the insurance commissioners that all wires in New York's new subway shall be insulated with asbestos and that the roofs and floors of all sub way cars shall be protected with asbestos mill board, calls attention to the valuable qualities of a mineral that we hardly knew existed a quarter of a century ago. It looks as if asbestos would be a great boon to man kind.
