The Storm: An Invasion Chronicle

language ( Nov. 5, 2015)
Sixteen-year-old Kayla McKenzie wakes up in her car with no cell phone and no memory as to how she’d gotten there. She soon finds herself a stranger in a small town where the people seem friendly enough, but when a freak storm rolls in trapping her at the high school with half the town she soon comes to find out just how much of an outsider she is. The only thing making her forced stay feel at all rewarding is getting to know Wesley, the Sheriff’s son and unofficial deputy.

Days pass and tensions run high as the storm doesn’t appear to be letting up, and no one can reach outsiders for help. An attempt at a medical supply run to an abandoned ambulance turns into horror when giant mutated spider’s attacks and kills one of their own, what was the storm and what else could be hiding in it?

To make things worse Kayla begins to feel like she’s losing her mind, she hears strange whispering at the oddest times, and has dreams that would scare Freddy Krueger. None of which is made any easier when several more people die, and not from spiders, but things much, much worse.

Trapped with monsters on the loose, will Kayla be able to survive them or the people she’s trapped with?
