Merry, The Rabbit Mom Didn't Want
Paperback
(Merry Tales Publishing May 9, 2010)
This is the first book in a series of three true stories about Merry, the rabbit. Merry is given as a gift to the author who at the time was a child with very limited knowledge of rabbits. The child's mother has asthma so Merry can not be kept in the house. Merry makes it clear that cages are not for her. She ends up with the freedom to come and go from the garage, the yard, and under the front porch. At the end of the book Merry is allowed to stay in the basement during the winter because mother says it is too cold outside.
