Micah the Mussel "No Profit in Shyness" starts a series of children's books designed to help a young child overcome some of the hardships of growing up thru independence, self confidence, faith in family, and friends. The main character "Micah" is a fresh water blue mussel with a love of life, good health, and a steadfast loyalty to his friends. His love of life and optimism always inspires others to do their best in facing any of life's difficulties. The back of each book contains a "Glossary" with word definitions for the parent, or teacher to help the child learn all new words in the book.
