Jason Jones is an ordinary young boy who one day discovers he has an extraordinary talent for automatic drawing. With the aid of his mentor, Mr Rennie, his art teacher, he discovers he is really a magician. This is an exciting adventure in which a boy learns how to become a magician and control his powers. As he starts to develop his mastery, with growing proficiency he learns it is not that easy, especially when you have to do ordinary things like go to school. But it does have its benefits, as he soon discovers. 'If I can do that, I can do anything,' young Jason keeps saying to himself. And it is through his own belief in himself does he manage to conquer all doubt and and thus begins to have more faith in his own convictions.
