The Chaos Plague

( Sept. 1, 2019)
It all started when an excess of radioactive material had leaked into the earth's core, causing the emergence of new plants, chemicals, and resources across the planet. Since then, the world has been plagued with acidic hurricanes, fireball showers, blood-burning bacteria, and a multitude of other bizarre environmental disasters and diseases.
To cope with the dangers of the new environment and emerging diseases, a mysterious scientist named Dr. Z genetically engineered surviving animals into powerful beasts known as genopets. These beasts were created with the powers to regulate the environmental changes and cure some of the deadliest diseases. Political turmoil over Dr. Z's creation of the genopets eventually caused the remaining human survivors to be segregated into clans based on race, with each clan responsible for training a specific species of genopets to regulate the conditions across specific parts of the world.
But when the mysterious scientist suddenly loses contact with all the clan leaders and genopets, both the social structure and natural environment of the world fall apart.
