Tina Annabelle Armstrong, aged 14, is bound to the sea by the tragic accident of her older brother Brian when she was 11 years old. Since then the ocean is all she thinks about.
She has a science project due in five days. She gets help with research from her younger brother and her neighbor Thomas Colbert aged 15.The science project is about plastic in the ocean. She realizes the current condition of the ocean is far worse than she thought.
She hopes her project is powerful enough to be a call to action to teens around the world to get involved and find solutions to heal the ocean. She dedicates it to Brian as his legacy. The characters are fictional. The links are real.
