Have you ever had pesky houseguests overstay their welcome? That's what happens to Jake Callahan when he decides to let an otter named Wendell Webster stay the night. Instantly, Wendell and his abundance of otter friends are everywhere, and there's nothing Jake can do about it. Katherine Dana, an independent illustrator, graduated with a B.A. in film animation and studio art from Grand Valley State University. The mischievous and spirited otters at her local zoo in Grand Rapids, Michigan are the inspiration for this book.
