When Nan Wilson, Girl Scout Counselor for Troop Seven in Bentonville, was asked by Hugh McAllister, a friend from high-school days and recently appointed Forest Ranger in the North Georgia Mountains, to use a place near the reservation as the Troop's campsite, she reeadily accepted his offer. For Hugh's suggestion had come at a time when the girls in the Troop were rebelling at going back to the old campsite that summer.
