There are wormholes between realities; cosmic corridors where creatures can slip into our world. This has been happening for millennia. Creatures known as the dimon race transform the energy of human emotion into food. We have called them demons. We are fools.
Earth has been their grocery store. They feed on hate and inspire wars. But now they want more. A new generation of dimons wants to open the wormhole between worlds turning it into a thundering vortex allowing them to enter, move freely and warp the collective human mind. Subtle plans have been made. They will begin by altering the thought process of our youth. Humans are remarkably naive.
Todd Walker bought a pair of really sweet shoes at the estate sale of Edward McGracey. Ed McGracey had been presumed dead. But he was back. He was back to find the astral shoes which allowed him to move easily between the multi-world realms. The shoes now however, belonged to Todd Walker. They were his. They were bound to him. So now Todd Walker from Montgomery Middle School must save the world from the sub-human dimon race.
