Meet the Bakers . . .
Mr. and Mrs. Baker always wanted children—so they went out and adopted 12 of them! There are Christine, Mark, Hilary, Olivia, Collette, Patty, Kenny, Howie, Kevin, Terry, Jack, and Dixie.
Now they have their own “Bakers’ Dozen” and life in their big country home is never boring.
Are 13 children too many for one family to handle?
It’s been nearly a year since Patty moved in with the Bakers. She really loves her big family—including newborn baby Addie! Then Patty gets terrible news: her father’s cousins have been found. They’re coming to meet the Bakers—and if they don’t like what they see, they’re going to take her far away.
And with the baby screaming, the dog howling, Chris fighting, and Dixie running away, it looks as if Patty is going to lose her home . . .
