“That’s my horse; stolen from me five years ago!” declares an unwelcome visitor to Pegasus Equestrian Center. Thus begins the legal battle for ownership of three-day event champion Corazón.
My life is good, thinks seventeen-year-old River Girard, working as an apprentice trainer at Pegasus. His horse Corazón is doing fantastic, and he has talented horses to work with every day. And best of all, Sierra is my girlfriend!
Sixteen-year-old Sierra Landsing believes she is the luckiest and happiest girl on earth. With her horse Fiel, and the horses assigned to her to ride, she is increasing her skills as a dressage and three-day event rider. I have Horses to ride every day, and to top that, River is my boyfriend!
Sierra and River do not know he may lose Corazón.
Then Oberon, aggressive and dangerous, arrives at Pegasus. For the first time in his life, River does not know how to deal with a horse…
