Sorry

Sorry is a humorous children's book about the misadventures of Miles the cat. Through whimsical drawings we see the true stories of the mischief that Miles creates. An actual photograph of Miles with a look that seems to say, "I'm sorry," follows each incident of misconduct. We know that a cat cannot truly be sorry for its behavior, but this provides a parent or teacher the perfect opportunity to discuss with a preschooler what it really means to be sorry and make amends for one's behavior. While reading the story, see if you can come up with ways for Miles to "fix" the trouble he has caused.
