Steve is an 8-year-old boy that has always loved science. Both of his parents are scientists and they have always encouraged Steve’s enthusiasm for the subject. One day Steve decided that he wanted to take his science experiments to the next level. He asked his mom to take him to the library so that he could do some research on how to create a stratovolcano. While at the library he met his friends, Jacob and Mason. As the three began exploring the different experiments, they decided that they wanted to start a science fair at their school. They went to their teacher to discuss the option of starting an annual science fair and to their surprise, the idea was approved! Steve, Mason and Jacob were the first pioneers of a school wide science fair!

Along the way, Steve and his friends learn just how to follow their passions and how when they want something, they just have to go for it. They learned the steps involved in starting up a big project and how to follow through their dreams. They had prepared themselves in case the school didn’t approve their idea, but when they did, they were incredibly surprised! Read along with Steve and his friends as they create their masterpiece experiment and show it live at the science fair along with many other students that joined in on the fun. Then join Steve as he is awarded 1st place for his experiment and earns and even bigger surprise at the end!
