New Game in Town

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform Feb. 8, 2018)
Worlds in alignment, perfectly in tune with each other. Neither has any idea that the other exists except for those they called ‘The Watchmen’. The Watchmen keep the worlds safe from one who wants to destroy the peace, and destroy both worlds by creating another world that will bring the three together and cause a cataclysmic collision. Hundreds of tweens go missing, but only those with an extremely high IQ. But when the police discover one of the missing children has been returned; the tween’s intelligence has been siphoned off, until they remain ‘normal’. Except for the return of one young girl who had been gone for ten months. She was bald, with burn marks on her scalp. Dressed in functional overalls, and sand shoes, she seemed fine, until she opened her mouth. “I am Amy, I am Amy!” she screamed. It was all she could say. Her mind had been totally burned out. All she could remember was her name. Memories had been stolen, normal daily tasks were beyond her. Someone had stolen Amy away. All she had left was her name. The police were given the case. In all, 300 children were still missing, but it seemed as if the perpetrator was seeking one more. One very special mind that would become the Focus of his creation. With the Focus in his possession; nothing could stop the madman. Chief Inspector Mac Wilson was fast running out of time. But so far, he hadn’t a clue where to begin. A cell phone was discovered. When Mac answered the ring, an enigmatic voice answered. “It has begun.” “What has begun?” Mac was getting even more confused. “Follow the trail of missing children.” The voice hung up. Mac was in a race against time to rescue the children before the one known as the Controller, discovered the tween who would become the Focus. Nothing could prepare Mac for the secrets he discovered and the peril his world was facing. With the aid of the mysterious couple known as Doctor and Mrs Forbes, the trio enlist the help of the Watchmen, hoping to be able to shut down the Controller before he manages to align the worlds and destroy all life as we know it.
