A Winter Adventure

language ( Dec. 4, 2016)
The best stories all seem to have happened long ago or far away, but Poplar Morgan never dreamed that those were real times and places. That is, she didn’t until the day she fell through a cellar door into a land called Faraway. Then things like magick and fairies, or dragons and goblins were all too real.
This Faraway place was as frightening as it was magical. There was trouble there that Poppy wasn’t sure she wanted anything to do with. The goblins had taken over and they held the people of Faraway prisoner behind walls of ice, where it was always winter.
Poppy had the Winter Stone, though, and they told her this was the key to breaking the goblin’s spell. But getting the stone where it needed to be would be an adventure filled with danger. Even if she was brave enough to try, Poppy was afraid she wasn’t strong enough to save Faraway.
Unfortunately, she was their last chance.
