Missing Maggie: The Story of a Dyslexic Hero

Peter Lane is a third grader with dyslexia who struggles in school. He is happiest when he is with his dog Maggie. She's his best buddy and has been with him since she was a puppy. One morning when Peter forgets to close the backyard gate, Maggie disappears. Maggie goes exploring and becomes lost in the forest. Peter, his parents, and his friend Sarah start a frantic search for Maggie that eventually leads them to a grumpy shopkeeper. When he refuses to return the dog to the Lanes without payment the family decides to abide by the Golden Rule and treat him with love and respect, trusting that God will make a way for Maggie to come back home to them.
