The Curse of Moco Elementary is a fictional children's book about a student, Peabody, who was murdered by school bullies. His spirit haunts the school until his niece, Meme, and her peers, help lift the curse of illusions and external authorities. This mystery was inspired by a supreme love for children, self-empowerment, forgiveness and new knowledge. It is a controversial story that visits the past, while peering into the future. The Curse of Moco Elementary will send you on an emotional roller coaster and open your mind to limitless possibilities. Proceed with Caution! Marquis Kennedy was born April 4, 1978, in Fort Worth, TX. His mother, Vanessa, raised him in Lake Como, where gangs, drugs, crime, and poverty, were "the norm". He attended Como Elementary School and graduated High School in 1996. In college, Kennedy began working with a program for at-risk youth in the surrounding neighborhoods. In 1999 he returned to Lake Como with plans to uplift and unite people, using poems, songs, television and public speaking.
