Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin was a remarkable astronomer and astrophysicist. She began teaching at Harvard in 1927 without an official position and the courses she taught were not officially recorded in the course catalogue until 1945. Cecilia later became the first woman to head a department at Harvard when she became Chair of the Department of Astronomy. This book inspires little girls to reach for the stars!
