Children’s Bedtime Classic: The Princess and the Frog
When the lovely Princess Ella loses her precious golden ball when it lands in a well, she makes a promise to a frog for the return of the ball promising he may eat at her table and sleep in her bed for three nights. She immediately forgets her promise when she runs home. A delightful story about the importance of keeping your word. For little hands to hold and to love.
The frog appears at dinner and demands payment as she had promised. Princess Ella tells her father, the King, about the strange frog and the king tells Ella she must keep her word to the Frog, for it is her bond.
Does Princess Ella keep her word? An enchanting story translated from the Grim Brothers’ collection, and put to verse by the author for the enjoyment of young readers.
