America is a land full of opportunity and a young girl of any nationality should be able to aspire to be something and know that she can grow up and achieve that goal. It is possible and I want girls all over the nation to see the truth in that. There are examples all around us of incredible success stories achieved by Hispanic females, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is just one. The essence of this children's coloring book is meant to initiate the idea of GIRL POWER in the minds and ideologies of young girls. the underlying message of the book is that not only is it possible for a Hispanic female to achieve her dreams, but as a young woman in America she is entitled to it.
