The Secret Stable

Jenny knew life at the new house would be just that, new. She was the new kid at school and didn’t hold out much hope for making a best friend by summer. The only good thing about living in the country was that she might get to take horseback riding lessons. Jenny loved horses, and becoming a horse-woman might just make life bearable again. Plus it would be a step towards her biggest dream ever, to have her very own horse. Little did she know, the old stable on the neighbor’s farm held the biggest secret she would ever have to keep. But would keeping it mean that she would lose the most important thing she had ever found? The Secret Stable is a middle grade story about a 10 year old girl whose special friendship with a mysterious and lonely horse helps her find the courage and strength to risk everything for someone besides herself.
