What is a monologue?

Well, it is a story told from just one person's point of view. It helps us understand them and get right into their very soul and thoughts. Even Shakespeare wrote in monologues!

So , it's the perfect way to get to know all those Christmas creatures who only get to come out once a year, to hear from the beings that live in ice and in Candy Cane Land and in snow. We can get to know the elves and reindeer, toys and Jack Frosts, children and Santas ...

Because they can't be all jolly all the time...

It's finally time to hear the first-hand, real story of five famous stars of Christmas: Jack Frost; Rudolph; Elfie the Elf; a snow man; and Santa himself! And we can find out what their lives are really like.

Think it's all presents, tinsel and trees? Well, sometimes, when they're not taking care of the kids, doing the school run or picking up the weekly shop! These five monologues are told from the point of view of these classic Christmas creatures, taking a genre that you think you know well and twisting it into interesting, new shapes!

All the stories have the same opening line ("So, you think it's easy being me?") but go in strange and unusual directions, keeping you smiling and interested along the way.
