WARSAW

(Independently published Sept. 30, 2019)
Gideon Conrad is home from college for the summer. Coming back from a fight which took place during the wrestling season, he is assigned to help coach the wrestling team at his old high school. He is immediately assigned to work with Matthew Butler, a special needs freshman who has never wrestled before. Finding this to be a challenge, he takes on the task and shortly discovers that he has cancer. Again.

A former cancer survivor, Gideon's world is shattered with the re-emergence of his sickness. In the meantime, he decides to take on a part-time job at his parents' church, working with his old youth pastor, Jason, who he begins to suspect of being less than faithful to his own wife. Gideon's twin brother, Jacob, is in town as well and his hard partying ways often get him into trouble. Can Gideon be a good influence for him, even while dealing with the battle of cancer? WARSAW is an inspiring, motivational story about faith, fighting, and a young man that discovers who he is as a person, a leader, and a brother.
