Marie Catherine had always lived a comfortable life, even if it was a bit lonely with her mother dead and her father hiding in his work. Marie lacked for nothing. She had a great boyfriend, Daniel, a good best friend, Kayla, and was free to do whatever she wanted. Yet when a mysterious postal worker starts showing up at her house, causing problems in her perfect little world, Marie Catherine struggles to make sense of it all as she finds herself taken in the middle of the night.
Confused and scared, Marie Catherine fights for her sanity and safety as she comes to realize that Kayla and she have been taken into the modern slave trade, run by a sadistic man with an angel face, Dominic Barrow.
As if her nightmare could not get worse, Dominic calls forth his highest illegal connections, including the handsome, but ill-tempered Cahan O’Ryan, the Irish Mob Boss, who reminds Marie Catherine of someone from her past. With the buyers arranged Dominic calls for them to take part in a new most dangerous game. Marie Catherine and Kayla find themselves not only up for sale, but up for being hunted. It is a true game of slaves versus buyers as Dominic releases the slaves and sends their potential owners to hunt them.
