Have you been to prison lately? As fate would have it, I have!
Imagine a middle-aged housewife and mother thrown into the world of an inmate! I had to do some pretty quick adapting and decided to try to get through the experience with humor and wits. Trying to become invisible and ignored, I watched the world around me and made observations about human life in general.
This is the story of my attempt to make it through each day in a place entirely foreign to me. Since I was a cook by trade, I have added some recipes that came to me while serving... No Pun Intended!
