A Blackberry's Quest

Old Man Blackberry reclined in his cozy mushroom villa, pictures of his heroes hanging on the walls. He picked up a chocolate remote, and turned on the television. Many thoughts tumbled in his head as he stroked his goatee.
“Who is Alfred? What will happen years from now? Why me?” were only a few.
He flipped through the channels, and finding one he liked, set the remote on his Honey Nut Cheerios table. It was his favourite channel, "It’s Snow Berries’ Business."
Suddenly, to his greatest annoyance, an emergency President broadcast overrode the show. Growling, wishing he had never decided to hack the television network, he leaned forward in his chair. The broadcast started with a group of blackberries running from an explosion, then a blackberry and raspberry trudging up a mountain, and finally a blackberry giving a speech to a large crowd. The television powered off. Ringing in his ears were the words the man had spoken.
“That was no Presidential broadcast,” Old Man Blackberry thought worriedly. "I must find Alfred. He needs to find the blackberries spoken of in the prophecy; and quickly too."
