A. When I set out to write this series, I wanted to write the kind of books that I like to read - usually fast-paced mysteries and thrillers with a bit of romance, strong characters and plenty of plot twists and turns. The Carlswick Mysteries are a great mix of these elements. The series focuses on the mystery genre overall with the romantic relationship between Stephanie and James running through each book. History is a key theme, particularly European history surrounding World War II and its cultural impacts.
A. Each book can be read as a standalone, but if you wanted to read them in order to fully understand the character development, the order would be as follows:
1. The Carlswick Affair
2. The Carlswick Treasure
3. The Carlswick Conspiracy
4. The Carlswick Deception
5. The Carlswick Mythology
