Children's picture book that tells the story, through the eyes of a young brother and sister, of a neighborhood being renewed --- and in particular, of the building of a new apartment building which becomes their new home. The children enjoy watching the building progress and though sad to see their old house eventually torn down, they are delighted to move into a new home with straight walls, a floor that didn't creak, a roof that didn't leak, and was warm in the winter --- and best of all, had neighbors now with plenty of children to play with.
