Sparky the Rescue Dog Saves the Day

One of the best days of the year was here at last! It had snowed during the night and the whole town would attend the annual sledding party. Everything was perfect until the town bully showed up and did what bullies do. He was mean to the other kids and ignored his parent’s warnings about the thin ice on the pond. When the unthinkable happened, who came to the rescue? Who could save this boy? This story teaches youngsters that being a bully is not a good way to act. It also shows how one big rescue dog with a heart full of love stepped up and became a hero. The bully realized that being mean gave him nothing but loneliness and he’d rather have friends.
