Commentary on John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress

Time would fail and space forbids us to expatiate on the beauties of the book. The more we study it, the more do we feel how much it deserves its matchless popularity; and the more cordially do we recommend it to the careful perusal of our readers. Our desire and prayer is, that some of them may be influenced by Bunyan’s pleasant companionship and wise guidance to commence, or, if they have commenced already, to persevere in and complete the pilgrimage which he so graphically describes.
