In the tradition of wonderful classic children’s books such as Munro Leaf’s “The Story of Ferdinand”, “Wee Gillis” and “Gordon the Goat”, “Harmony” touches on themes of self-discovery and acceptance of individuality.
Harmony struggles to find something that he is good at, something that makes him special. His success reassures young readers that it is all right to be different from others. In time, they too will find their own strengths.
