The market is saturated with stories about the zombie apocalypse. However, no one has been brave enough to get close and personal in order to check if any of these undead have any sort of intelligence… No one until Sam Moss.
Sam and his little brother, Penchant, built themselves an impenetrable fortress inside the walls of their family’s junkyard. There they rode out the initial zombie massacre while Sam followed his hunch, certain the undead could still use their brains. The Moss brothers form a truce with Captain Right Wing and his army of undead… If the neighborhood zombies protect the boys from roving bands of flesh-eaters, Sam in return will repair and replace the rotting bits falling off of them.
The truce becomes more vital to their survival when Anne G.G., a girl from a neighboring town, appears announcing the pending arrival of hostile, hungry zombies.
