The Slilar

language ( Nov. 15, 2013)
The strange and reclusive aliens we call the Slilar came on a cold winter night, landing at scattered locations on the Earth, aggressively taking parcels of land and setting up their heavily guarded compounds. Their intentions are unknown because they refuse to communicate with us; we have been forced to await their decision to engage us – or even to destroy us.

Tommy and Jack live near the Slilar’s Iowa compound. One dark night Tommy makes his most daring attempt yet – only to get more than he bargains for. Their persistent attempts to spy on the aliens may be paying off – or may get them killed.

(This is a short story.)
