My Life Growing Up

language (John E. Bartlett Feb. 15, 2016)
My childhood probably wasn't much different from yours and many others then again it might be a whole lot different. I imagine much of it depends on the way you were brought up. How your parents raised you. Did you have respect for them and others. Were you honest about yourself and things you did or said to others. My parents were the best in my world. Dad wasn't home much but he was a truck driver and he chose that way of life to be able too give us a better way of life.
Coming into the world with good parents and the respect for them and others in your community made a big difference in the way you looked at life in general. But my life was great until the day my best friend my lover and my everything went missing. Lea Ann and I had a true relationship. We were best friends since grade school. Some how along the way we fell in love with one and other. I guess that is part of coming out of your childhood years and into adulthood. Lea Ann was abducted and raped by a couple of sick bastards that lived just on the edge of town. It was gut wrenching to think what they did too her. My biggest fear was whether I would get her back or not and would she ever be the same.
