At nine years old, Joey is way too old for make-believe. Alas, make-believe is all his out-of-work, odd-ball father can offer. But when Joey grumpily agrees to go on one final, pretend "adventure", he stumbles upon a mysterious artifact that pits him against an unscrupulous foe.Join Joey, who is in the fourth grade after all and still struggles with reading, his wanna-be street magician father, Ethan-il-Fabuloso, and best friend/kickball phenom Gloria, as these unlikeliest of heroes ride the high-voltage rails of imagination – and public transit – to take on the ambitious Professor, in a lightning-fueled battle of the wits for control of the mysterious “energy of the heavens”.
