A short story (Single): In 1759; HMS Severance set sail from Portsmouth bound for the West Indies - she never arrived. The ship and her crew were never to be seen again, and speculation of their fate has abounded ever since. In 2013, a water damaged journal, wrapped in an oilcloth, came to light; discovered on a shifting sandbar, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. The first legible page read, 'HMS Severance.' This is the story contained within those pages...
