Ursa Maximus

Forty people, family campers from New Jersey, travel to a remote Canadian island for an annual summer Boy Scout trip. When they arrive they make a shocking discovery. Their hosts are missing and the surrounding territory has been taken over by a giant bear, a bear that is now inexplicably stalking them and keeping them captive on the island. Emotions run high as they face the bear and toil for survival. Then as more primitive instincts take hold, the families realize they must be concerned not only with the bear but also with members of their own group. Parents and children learn from nature and from each other. Families struggle to identify genuine risks and threats.
