The Farewell Series: Operation Snow is a warm, family-focused book about an 11-year-old girl navigating her way through being the oldest of 7 children and beginning the epic sixth grade! However, catastrophe strikes when Miss Snow doesn’t show up for the highly anticipated Christmas parade in their hometown. Through persistence, sacrifice, strategy, and a lot of brainstorming, the sixth grade class of Axis Elementary tries to find a way to get to the bottom of where their teacher disappeared to. When Miss Snow is discovered, the class realizes there is no easy way to bring her home. Operation Snow is born when the sixth graders concoct a plan to get their beloved teacher back! It is a good thing that Maine is an avid reader, and can draw from her vivid imagination and creativity. She rallies the sixth grade together for an adventurous and brave encounter that travels far beyond their classroom!
