The veil between the worlds is quickly thinning. The comfortable spoiled life we live will soon be a fading memory in the far corners of our minds. During the time when the veil first begins to weaken the creator along with some of his most intelligent and powerful beings come together to protect and teach the children, who have been placed in the world to stop those who have fallen from deceiving, controlling, and ultimately destroying all of the connecting worlds.
Amber and Adam are strangers that are ripped away from everything they've ever known and thrown into a world of magic and myth together.
Amber has been in foster care her whole life with nothing or no one of her own. She was never in one place long. She had given up hope of ever being happy. Adam was adopted by a loving family where he lived a comfortable protected life. That is until the nightmares started and they were torn away from it all and thrown into a world where they find that nothing is what they thought and anything is possible.
They each must avoid the evil that hunts them until they come to terms with who they are, except the gifts they are given and learn how to fight what they don’t understand.
