Before David was king of Israel, he was just another teen-aged boy watching his father's sheep in the fields around the tiny village of Bethlehem.
One day God sent the prophet, Samuel, to anoint him as the new king. This was frightening for Samuel, because he would be seen as a traitor to King Saul, who was sitting on the throne. And it was bewildering to David and his family, because David was the least of his brothers.
This is the story of five cousins who witness this amazing event, as well as watching David defend his flock from a raging bear!
