"I can't do magic," said the boy. "That's impossible." He paused. "But I can undo it."
Sam's first adventure ended with him grounded and Lily banned from seeing him. So not a complete success. But what bothers Sam more is that he still doesn't know the scientific reason for what's going on, and hasn't been able to help his friend. His solution? Get a stone like his to take the dark energy surrounding Lily away for good. But how? The nearest area with that type of rock is over 300 miles away.
So when a school camping trip comes up he tries to convince Lily to go, but she argues (understandably) that he should come too. Can Sam overcome his fears to go with her? Will the weird terrors hounding Lily be better or worse away from the city? And can they work together to save the camp, and all their friends, from disaster?
If you can prove that monsters don't exist, what is there to be scared of?
