Laura's mysterious new neighbor seems to be her sworn enemy. Laura is convinced he takes spiders hostage. The failed friendship confirms Laura's ideas that she's good at nothing.
Escaping the neighbor's tyranny, Laura and Daryen travel to a faraway planet. So far away it might not exist outside of their imaginations.
Almost as soon as Daryen lands their spaceship they notice strange things. Vanishing things. In their quest for answers, they meet a whole town of silly Smidgins and the fire-breathing Dreadnought.
Will they be in time to save the vanishing planet? Are they safe from the neighbor boy there?
